All money from Dundee guitarist/ singer songwriter Richard Gorman goes to the Palestinian relief fund. Richard was inspired by the stories of medical aid workers in Gaza. While the graphic lyrics of the title track are disturbing, the message conveyed is vital in these troubled times: in “this sick world” to which “even god turns away”. ‘Beatitude’ is taken from Richard’s album “Don’t Try This at Home” and is a hard-hitting song about religious fanaticism. All Richard asks is for £1.50 or more for a download, which seems not too much to ask in the circumstances. A message from Richard follows below:
Thank you to everyone who has supported this music. Hopefully it moves people and will continue to do so if others hear it. I've just sent our first wee £30 donation to the Palestinian Red Crescent for the first day or so's take. Whilst, obviously as a musician, I hope the song itself has its own emotional merit if you would also like to donate to the Red Crescent directly (Or you just plain don't like the song!) here's a quick link to their donation page:
And here's is the link to the song again should you wish to pass it on or just have a listen:
