Described as a cult mock band the complete recordings of The Outer Limits are complied along with 14 previously unreleased demos. The band’s songwriter, guitarist and keyboard player Jeff Christie (famous for ‘Yellow River’ by Christie has been personally involved in the project. There are 36 tracks in total. Collectors of freakbeat, mod and psychedelic pop will want to add this to their collection especially as their group strived so hard to developed a new sound they called ‘progressive’. The ‘Death of a Pop Group’ video on YouTube tells the story of how the group was disappointed at the apathy to their ‘Great Train Robbery’ single and how despite towing with Jimi Hendrix they got into debt and had to disband after only three years.
