THE CHRONICLES OF FATHER ROBIN – THE SONGS AND TALES OF AIROEA BOOK 1 (2023)

Due for release on 15th September, a full review has been sent to ACID DRAGON for the next issue. Suffice to say if you like a little folk balladry, but mostly classic, complex but accessible prog with many fine melodic and rhythmic passages then this album is for you. It’s the first a of a trilogy of concept albums. Nearest comparisons are JETHRO TULL (flute passages), WHITE WILLOW, YES (in the vocals, but also the instrumental interplay), ÄNGLÅGARD and ANEKDOTEN (and FRUUP perhaps). The 15-minute ‘Twilight Fields is the track available for free listening on BANDCAMP.
