PETE BROWN - Poet, Lyricist and Band Leader

Born on Christmas Day 1940 in Hastings, Pete Brown was a Beat/Jazz poet influenced by Dylan Thomas, Alan Ginsberg and Jack Kerouac. He became friends with GRAHAM BOND and wrote lyrics for CREAM. His achievements can be heard on CREAM Disraeli Gears and White Room; JACK BRUCE Harmony Row; with his BATTERED ORNAMENTS on A Meal You Can Shake Hands with in the Dark; with PIBLOKTO on Thousands on a Raft and others. Pete Brown R.I.P. 19th May 2023.
