DR WHO SENSATION: WE HAVE BEEN WOKEN UP AFTER ALL THESE YEARS: Is DAVROS an affront to the disabled?

Well, guess who has made page 3 of the ‘i’ newspaper? None other than DAVROS, creator of THE DALEKS, who will henceforth be removed from his Dalek undercarriage. Russell T Davies does all the talking with opinions amongst Dr Who fans reported as “divided” only in the last paragraph!
Here’s me thinking that Davros was inside a life support machine since I was a wee boy: well, it just shows you how deluded I was! I hope there is a good scientific explanation for Davros’s remarkable rehabilitation, or maybe the idea is to finish him off altogether by taking away his life support. If so then Dr Who will have lost its greatest villain. Feel free to disagree: there is now a working facility for comments.

Surely there aren't enough 'wheelchair' bound villains representing the disabled. The good guys have got Professor X and Ironside. Maybe they'll make his top half Dalek and have him running free with a Human bum and legs. I'd tune in for that.
