“Musician and producer Daniel Vincent announces the release of his latest studio album, “Means of Escape”, a captivating journey through soundscapes that blend ambient textures, progressive structures, and deeply personal lyrics. Transcending the post-progressive psychedelia of his earlier work, Means of Escape weaves the disparate elements of a rich 22-year back catalogue into a cohesive, sonically adventurous, and emotionally profound journey.”
The incisive guitar on ‘Far Beyond of the World’ shows what Daniel Vincent’s music is all about, describing a derelict house on a hill – a metaphor? – on a rich, atmospheric soundscape. ‘Obfuscation’ takes a heavier approach based on a repetitive guitar riff with percussion, an instrumental this time; the choral/ guitar effects to a backdrop of bass with synth creating a powerful ambience. ‘Moment in the Sun’ is a haunting short ballad with a memorable guitar break.
These are just three reasons why I recommend that you check out this release. “Means of Escape” is available to pre-order via Burning Shed and Bandcamp for a release on 14th November 2025. Check out the interview on Bandcamp in conjunction with the music.
