There is lot going on in the 4-minute plus single by the BJORK-like Bloom De Wilde, encompassing many different styles. The prominent bass and rolling drums (even some phasing for a little while giving the music a psychedelic edge), a jazzy Mariachi trumpet, and a touch of reggae combining effortlessly. I must find out more about this artist who could on the verge of something. KATE BUSH also came to mind in a refreshing willingness to experiment that stands out amongst a rather predictable pop chart full of ‘woe is me’ existential angst.
