After the impressive single in which The Space Lords delivered an amazing track about the loneliness of space, here comes the anticipated full album, and it’s one of Astral Magic’s best.

‘Mind- blowers’ has an eastern feel and a strong space rock vibe; the album really ignites with ‘Riding on an Asteroid’ with groovy fuzz guitar, throbbing bass, driving drums and swirling synths – you know the score! The cosmic flow continues on ‘Sleep Eternal’ as Santtu Laakso falls “deeper into a void”; there is no letting up of the pace on a fabulous, atmospheric piece; on ‘The Collison’: Vesa Partti is the lyricist/ vocalist and delivers a neat guitar line, with some strident bass playing from Santtu and a blazing guitar ‘question and answer’ guitar solo from Vesa; Jonathan Segal adds some narration to ‘The Three Men In Black’, a catchy ditty about - you know what- and closer, ‘Million Miles’, keeps this quality space rock right up there with best!
